Based on the observations shared in this paragraph, it can be established that the preservation of the past knowledge of humans played a significant role in making the current scientific development possible (Lan, Li, and Wang). Because, other species are naturally forced to initiate their learning process repeatedly, while humans due to their intellectual capability transfer their knowledge from one generation to another. Moreover, this paper will attempt to compare the world-renowned historical and scientific facilities that are Ankhor Thom and Griffith Observatory, which are developed in order to preserve the ancient religious knowledge in Cambodia, while the intersteller scientific information is gathered through Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

Furthermore, both of the facilities are tourist attraction point of the native nations because, they are the sources of great knowledge for the people worldwide. But, the knowledge’s nature, which these facilties offer are signifcantly devergent because Ankhor Thom is devoted to save the cultural and religious heritage of ancient Cambodia, while the Griffith Observetory is dedicated to find new scientific information about vastness of the universe. However, the only commonality both of the facilities have, is their devotion to preserve the knowledge, so that they can enlighten the public lives in Cambodia and US respectively (Fletcher, Johnson and Bruce).

Nevertheless, Griffith Observatory is an hi-tech facility equipped with world’s highly specialized telescopic technology dedicated towards providing pubilc with the remarkable experience of observing intersteller realities. However, many of the adolescents take a decision to become a spacial professional after visiting Griffith Observatory. In addition, Griffith Observatory is located in the pastures at the bank of Pacific therefore, present its visitors with an opportunity to enjoy the beautifulness of the area.

Thus, in this way, it turned into a massive tourist attraction in Los Angeles (Dupouy). However, on the other hand, Ankhor is the place characterized with historical significance. Based on the above literature Griffith Observatory and Angkor Thom are built to preserve knowledge. But, their natures are divergent because, the former one is committed to provide an interstellar experience to the public, while the latter one is the mere representation of the religious power without any practical meaning (Hendrickson).

In addition to all of the reviewed literature, another interesting feature of both facilities is their construction in the vast areas with lash green plants, which provide the visitors with an ample amount of opportunity to experience the glimpse of nature away from technological life of 21st century (Krupp). On the other hand, especially Griffith Observatory is playing a significant role in inspiring the next generation in becoming space-oriented professionals in their future and Ankhor is attempting to represent the past domination of Cambodian kings on the world.

Conclusion This paper viewed the similarity in the purposes of building Griffith Observatory and the Angkor and found out that both of these facilities are constructed to preserve knowledge. But, the natures of these knowledge were divergent in nature because the former one represents knowledge orientation and the latter one focuses on signifying religious beliefs without proper implementation. However, both of the analyzed facilities enjoyed only one similarity because, they are built in order to save historical and scientific knowledge and this common attribute rendered these places attractive towards tourists because, tourists are always interested in visiting knowledge-oriented places, which can assist them in understanding the very roots and scientific development of indigenous culture of a particular area.
