Royal Tires and More Systems Upgrade Project Royal Tires and More systems must embrace a technology change in order to remain relevant in the business it has been operating for over 40 years. To achieve this change, the top management of the automotive repair company must be willing to accept the need for technological advancement, be willing to invest on new systems and participate in every step of bringing change to the company. There would be an overall upgrade of the systems in the company for employees and clients of the company to enjoy modernized delivery of services.

As an expert in project management, it is important for the company to get new accounting software, new computers, create and internet connection and improve the human resource department for employees to get improved services.Key Deliverables1. Key components and classification of the project for Royal Tires and More Systems Accounting SoftwarePayroll and Inventory SoftwareImproved Customer Service UnitNew computers for the five employees working in the offices 2. Define the business requirementsThe capability and capacity of the applications software recommended for the existing system configuration.

The extent to which the existing configuration can be automated for easy application of the human resource, by either increasing the capacity of existing units or adding new unitsPayroll deductions for taxes and benefits are not always correct for employees due to the inaccurate number of employees dependents in the records.3. Create the work breakdown structureDelivery shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Delivery shall be made by an approved route in compliance with all current federal and state regulations.

Any cost relating to packing, shipping, unpacking, loading, unloading or other cost relating to the transportation of the equipment purchased herein shall be included separately in the Proposal Total Sheets or proposal shall state that these items are included in the proposal price. The contractor shall assume responsibility for delivery of equipment and any damage of equipment resulting from transportation or from carrier neglect shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor may, at his option and expense, elect to insure the equipment while in transit; however, any cost relating to insurance or damages shall also be included separately in the Proposal Total Sheets. 4. Develop a risk management planArrangements for this activity should be scheduled with the Project Manager a minimum of three days prior to the date of delivery of equipment.

The final location of equipment provided herein shall be in rooms designated by the Project Manager. It is recommended that all bidders thoroughly inspect these facilities, including unloading facilities and the required route of moving equipment within the buildings prior to submission of bids. Unloading of the equipment from the truck trailer shall be done in a loading dock area. Specific questions relative to this requirement should be directed to the Project Manager prior to the submission of proposals.5.
