The company has a minority investment of about 49.9% which is owned by the Consortium of Irish investors who are believed to present the Merion Stockbrokers. Over the years, the company has been taking various corporate strategy management initiatives in order to survive in an otherwise risky business. Since the company was established, it has been increasing its number of staff over the years and has risen from the initial 43 people to about 250 staff although another cooperate strategy has seen the reduction of this staff to about 200 employees.

This was one of the steps taken in order to position the team in the Formula one sports after a stormy operating environment that has been witnessed by a number of formula one independent team. (Paopla, 2004) The team has an experience of thirteen years in Formula One racing and Jordan GP has retained its initial mission as the Formula One fun team. Through the years the team has been under the inspiration of Jordan's unconventional style of leadership which has taken an energetic approach to supporting issues.

He has been devoted to bring a great sense of humour to the race attracting a number of fans to his team. Right from the start, the fundamental value for the establishment of the company has been to take nothing less that a win in the game. To fulfil this mission, the team has been built on these strategic visions:1. Wining Formula One Word Constructors Championship2. Grow over the years maintaining and improving profitability3. Make the team a great place for all to workTo fulfil this, the company has been taking various steps towards integrating all its team members and to ensure that they function as one team.

It has realized the importance of having close relationship between the team members to function as one family. However with the expansion of the team, there has been changing relationship between the team members as it has become a more structured organization. (Findlay, 2000)Starting with low financial base, the company has over the years increased its overall share in the Formula One. Through it can be termed as a turbulent way, the company has been making inroads to the great formula one racing events in the word by making sponsorship deals over the years.

It has taken different corporate strategies to survive in the competitive sporting world. But all its success and failures can be attributed to the efforts of Eddie Jordan who have been making crucial decisions on the future of the team.Jordan GP is one of the leading sporting teams in Formula One. Through strategic management, the team has won the Formula One and rated highly in a number of races. Since the team was founded with no sponsor willing to be identified with it, it has grown over the years and has attracted the attention of a number of sponsors and some have even shown the interest of acquiring it.

It owes this to the good management and leadership style that has been exhibited by Eddie Johnson who has indeed fulfilled his initial mission of building an own brand.
