In fact, it manages and runs in the veins of the community and society. At the present, a technology is associated with creativity and innovation. In this scenario, it transforms the current thoughts into reality as well as into something that is supportive and helpful to culture and society and improves the standard of human life. Additionally, it brings a number of opportunities and advantages to a common person’s life. In addition, the intensity of automation that new technologies have offered has saved a lot of precious time and human capability to a huge level. It has simplified the access to information and brought distant locations much closer (LGVideoContest; Shelly, Cashman and Vermaat 23).This paper discusses the impact of technology on human life especially laptops and cell phones. This research will outline the positive and negative aspects of technology and how they affect human life. This research will outline the major aspects of IT which are transforming and improving the traditional practices of business and daily life. Introduction Without a doubt, technology (especially information technology) nowadays plays a significant role in all areas of life. In fact, we would have never been able to know how a something can play a key role in our lives until we would have been sited back, relaxed, and seated right in front of the laptop or computer and accessed the web for the reason that its importance can’t be described in words and it plays a key role in business, family and personal life (Sohag; Worlock; FreeOnlineResearchPapers). Additionally, the new technology (cell phones and laptops) allows us to access the Internet without any problem, and it brings friends and family much closer. However, before the emergence of the Internet technology, it was not possible to keep in contact with friends and relatives all through the nation or around the world and it was very expensive. On the other hand, at the present, a person living in Louisiana currently has so many ways to communicate with family members, friends or other people who live on the other side of the world. Hence, it has facilitated a large number of people to stay in touch with one another, and they would have not been capable of doing previous to this invention (Sohag; Worlock; FreeOnlineResearchPapers). Another main advantage of technology in business side is that it facilitated the majority of business corporations to be able to connect with suppliers, employees and partners all through the world. In the same way, small businesses are able to find their customers anywhere in the globe. Additionally, organizations are currently able to hire educated personnel from anywhere in spite of where they are, significantly growing services openings. In this scenario, the Internet has offered innumerable ways to learn about new training, jobs, volunteer chances and what is happening in our area (Sohag; Worlock; FreeOnlineResearchPapers). In addition, the emergence of these technologies has also changed the way people shop for products and services in diverse areas of the world. Not simply do they are able to do it online, however at their own time as well as the security of their own home. What is therefore astonishing they are able to disburse bills with no wasting stamps and guaranteeing that it gets there in a timely way? The new technology, information systems and communication tools support let us live as well as work anywhere we want and feel comfortable. Additionally, with the world's data and information at our fingertips as well as customers and colleagues immediately available, the Internet is extremely essential to our lifestyle as well as to more through life without it will be extremely hard particularly when we utilize it daily (Sohag; Worlock; FreeOnlineResearchPapers). In spite of a large number of advantages and opportunities offered by technology there are also some issues and problems associated with technology based evolution. The new technology has also negatively impacts on our lives. There are negative impacts on our social, economic, environmental, cultural, physical, economic areas. These issues are becoming more and more drastic with more and more evolution in technology. This research will discuss the impact of technology on human life. This research will consider both the positive and negative aspects of technology. Laptops and Cell Phones Technology Evolution In the past few years, mobile and laptop systems have turned out to be ubiquitous all around the world. With the influence of mobile and portable computing systems on human lives, now the era of technology has reached to a level where people have started making use of mobiles and laptops for communication purposes. On the other hand, when information and communication technology has been trialed for communication and interaction purposes, then the results have been mixed. In this scenario, mobile phones are different from a traditional system and computer lab filled with computers or a cart of note-books for the reason that the cell phone is one of the most commonly used personal communication technology. At the present, the majority of students and teachers spend most of their time in learning the features of the mobile phone and laptops. In addition, a large number of researches have proved that mobile phones are very useful systems and devices for the sake of more efficient communication purposes. These systems are more and more prevalent and known these days for the sake of improving people and interacting performance (Goundar; Zinnbauer; Ormiston; University of Siegen). In view of the fact that both the latest technologies (i.e. mobile and laptops) have offered a great deal of computing power and excellent support for communication however they have potentially reduced the people interaction and communication in a real mode. These aspects can cause a wide variety of health related issues for the society that is filled with gadgets but not having emanations. Demographic and Daily Life Influences of Technology Whether someone is setting a time bomb, driving a car, signing a contract, sending an e-mail, the technology expands their potential and power. In this scenario, an unlucky dynamic of up-to-date technology is that it frequently works in the course of rivalry; a wide variety of technologies work well for untimely adopters at the cost of non-adopters. In the past, people must have been pleased when they came to know how to kill mammoths by driving them over the rock face. When it comes to present advantages: yet everybody else accepted the new technology, taking toward the mammoths to extermination. While talking about the latest technology in the context of culture, people are always searching for more and more effective techniques to be amused, and all they are finding is causing a wide variety of issues. Some of the major disadvantages of these technologies are that now people are performing less and paying less concentration and less attention to listening, watching, and playing, and all this is due to new and modern technologies such as mobile and laptops. In this scenario, the Internet supported forms of entertainment similar to television, mobile internet (facebook, twitter etc) and even video games appear harmless to community, and however they are actually not. When the Internet initially emerged, people never imagined that it would become as significant as it is nowadays. Without a doubt, the Internet (whether through mobile or laptop) is a simple to utilize technology that is able to perform immediately anything. However what people do not recognize is that the Internet is not everything. In many cases, a huge volume of data and information placed on websites is just based on people’s views, not truthful data. Hence, when people view this data and information, it looks like trustful information, however most of the time, it is not (Knezek and Christensen; Kamssu, Reithel and Ziegelmayer; Gupta; Shiblaq). A number of characteristics of our demographic and financial profile propose that if we desire to attain expansion rates comparable to our opponents and develop service opportunities, we will require as many of our human resources as probable, in all the cases, to improve their potential. In this scenario, pertinent demographic as well as economic issues comprise: (Shiblaq; Clark) Low population growth Ageing population Extra youthful nature Augmented proportion Rising income disparity Unenthusiastic net migration Narrow export base Less than ideal skill base Best availability and access to ICT and ICT literacy are more and more necessary for improving human capital power. Social and Interactive Influence of Technology Technology has helped increase the pace of data and information communication and transmission as well as to minimize its price. On the other hand, at the same time it has caused people to become more unfriendly to each other. It is an admitted fact that in past times the main form of collaboration and communication was for people to visit one another and move on to some public meeting places. At that time, one of the succeeding advances was the invention of telephone ethnology. In fact, with the evolution of telephone technology people no longer go to real time public meeting places like frequently they used to. Additionally, with the passage of time the technology became more advanced, yet allows people to collaborate and communicate with each other with a great deal easier. In addition, these technologies for example beepers, facsimile and email though apparently making life simpler, every such technology is aimed at reducing the drawbacks of previous forms of communication. In a number of companies email is the key method of communication for the reason that it is rapid, and it allows them to keep record of the conversation (Gupta; ButtePatil; Bryjak, Majewska-Nowak and Kabsch-Korbutowicz). As discussed above, at the present people are making more and more use of online communication and interaction tools and at the same time as reducing real time or physical interaction. These days such web based interactions are so much popular. In this scenario, Facebook and Twitter are well-known examples of social networks, which allow people to communicate online and reduce real time social interaction and as a result influencing peoples' mental health, communicating power, socialism and personality development (Rouse; Human Kinetics). In addition, social computing is the shared and interactive feature of online behavior. Basically, this idea is believed to be the opposite of personal computing, which explains the behavior of inaccessible users. Some of the well-known examples of social computing comprise wikis, blogs, RSS, Twitter, multiplayer gaming, instant messaging and open source development and social networking along with social bookmarking websites. Additionally, social computing is directly associated with the idea of Web 2.0 that is considered as the structure for implementation supporting the procedures of social computing. However, social computing plays a significant role in an organization for the reason that it authorizes and stimulates employees, which result in producing advantages for the business (Rouse; Human Kinetics). Moreover, businesses are able to as well make use of social computing to reach massive markets and promote their business brands. Social computing is able to improve customer relationship management (CRM) for the reason that it permits a business to go after public view regarding its brand as well as responds rapidly to client request. On the other hand, many large size business organizations have as well started making use of a latest trend known as crowd sourcing for research. In this scenario, the business making use of social computing functions is sometimes recognized as Enterprise 2.0 (Rouse; Human Kinetics). Real World Gaming and Video Gaming Real world or physical games (such as football, badminton and so on) are essential for good health, personality development and improve people sportsmanship. However, the evolution of technology (mobiles and laptops) has struck our children to home based video games that lead them to less effective social personality. The research has shown that linking to some video games appears to have some poor social skills and behaviors that frequently miss the bigger picture. In this scenario, people might contribute in some other activities for example cricket or football in which the social issues that happen from the activity can be the similar or even worse as compared to those of gaming. However, it is not adequate to just blame the medium. In point of fact, in many cases, gaming can aid in relationship building. A report about the 13th Annual Media Wise Video Games shows that more than 75% of gamers playing with other people have more sportsmanship, confidence and inflectional personality (Human Kinetics; Prabhath). Impact Analysis of Modern Technologies This section discusses the impact of technology on various aspects of human life. This section divides the effects of technology in different categories, which are discussed below: Economy and Industry: The advancements of technology have changed the economy and industries rapidly. In this area, these technologies have brought a number of opportunities and benefits. It has made the world a global village and a business organization is able to read the worldwide customers using a computer and the Internet. On the other hand, it has reduced the jobs for humans as technology and automation are replacing the humans’ skills (Scribd Inc.). Healthcare: Modern technologies have facilitated healthcare industry with increasingly sophisticated tools to operate on cancer and at the present many diseases are cured through technology. In addition, the hospitals use computers to record and store data and information (Scribd Inc.). Education: Modern technologies are playing significant role in the education sector. In this scenario, the emergence of mass media, especially electronic media as a source of scientific and educational centers has a significant impact on education. At the present, the majority of students and teachers use the laptops and mobile devices for learning and gaining data and information. Many students use a mobile to record their lectures and they can listen to those lectures whenever they need. They can communicate with their teachers anytime and anywhere. However, a number of researches have shown that these technologies have negative effects on learning capabilities of students as students are more and more dependent on these technologies (Scribd Inc.). Military: These technologies are playing a significant role in military operations. In fact, the mobile devices work fine in the areas where wired media cannot reach. Thus, they help ensure the maximum security (Scribd Inc.). Conclusion This paper has discussed the impact of technology in different areas of human life. Basically, the scope of this paper covers the analysis of two technologies (mobile devices and laptops) and their effects on human life. This paper has shown that these technologies are playing a significant role in all areas of life for the reason that they offer an excellent support for all the daily tasks. Without a doubt, these technologies play a significant role in every walk of life but at the same time they have negative impacts on human life. For instance, people have become so used to these technologies that they cannot survive without these technologies. Now people use mobile and laptop devices for communication and collaboration and they have reduced the use of face-to-face communication which can cause various social issues. Though, these technologies like other technologies are just technologies and the use of these technologies completely depends on humans, whether they use them positively or negatively, it depends on humans. If they use them positively these technologies can offer a number of advantages and if they use them negatively these technologies can become a nightmare.
