Non-Emergency Transport Payment Process and Growth Destination Care is an organization with aims of helping patient acquire medical care at the right times and avoiding any forms of delay. It aims at helping non-drivers, senior citizens who are unable to drive themselves and patients who are unable to drive themselves to receive medical care. The company has experienced a hard time trying to keep up with the widening market and need for alterations in payments. These are some of the challenges facing the company, and their elimination will result in the betterment of productivity and will ultimately maximize profits levels (Levesque 564). The company has some set objectives, solutions to problems, and set alternatives to better its services to customers. The breakdown is as depicted in the presentation. Goals of the New System Destination care aims at providing better quality services to customers to widen its market share and productivity. The need to set objectives and work to achieve them is a key undertaking of the company, aimed at improving the quality of services offered. Expanding the customer base and revenue streams Destination Care has a vast focus on the expansion of market share, through widening the customer base. The company is consistently generating new ideas to help improve their revenue streams, and simultaneously better their servicing, public image, and productivity. One of the ways of improving their market share is through the introduction of a variety of payment options. Destination Care has experienced a limiting factor, which is offering only two payment options, cash, and checks. It has hindered the growth of the organization since more and more customers opt for other payment methods, such as the electronic methods. Customers prefer much-simplified systems, such as the electronic means, which is much convenient as opposed to checks where one must await their processing. The company also aims to widen its market coverage through social media promotion. The company plans to better its market share through informing potential customers about their services and new systems. Through this methodology, the company will maximize its revenues, initiated by the wider market for services. Simplicity Destination Care has a major focus on simplifying their systems and making them easier to use. It will help improve their productivity and better their public image. One of the set plans to achieve this is the introduction of various payment options, which will enable customers to pay their bills easily and conveniently. The current payment systems hinder growth of the organization, and they limit its productivity since some of the potential clients dislike them. The introduction of newer, easier to use payment systems will see to it that the organization grows and maximizes its productivity. Another set measure is scheduling of appointments. Currently, the organization has no schedules, which hinders its efficiency in delivering quality services. The company plans to introduce new software that will enable the employees to receive a one-on-one training, bettering their productivity and efficiency. Growth As depicted, the company plans to improve its revenue streams, providing enough funding for growth of the company. With these funds, the company has set objectives aimed at focusing on company growth and widening its market cover. With the achievement of this set goal, the company will better its market position and improve its returns. It will better its public image and maximize customer loyalty, despite incidences of competition or rivalry. Alternatives Considered & Solutions Selected The company has some underlying challenges, whose elimination will result in improved results, in terms of productivity, market share, and profits. Some of the problems include the existent payment system. The company’s payment system does not put into consideration the needs of customers who opt for a much simpler method. Therefore, Destination Care has brought forward some alternatives of making payments, including the electronic means. Customers prefer to make online payments rather than cash and checks. Its introduction will maximize company’s productivity. Another alternative brought forward is the need for scheduling programs, which will ease servicing and better its quality. The current system does not support scheduling, and the employees do not receive adequate training as intended. The company requires improving the software to match their desired quality, whereby the employees can receive one-on-one training, as opposed to the current system that only supports mass training. Through scheduling, the company will better its market position and customer reception. Consequently, its public image will improve, and so will the overall profits. The company will better its returns through improvement of the software, and an introduction of better programs to run scheduling. Details Concerning the Solutions The laid out challenges hinder growth of the organization and alters the performance of the company, making it short of its expectations. Elimination of these threats will improve the market position of the organization making it more profitable and popular. One of the solutions is the introduction of an e-payment method for the customers. As noted earlier in the presentation, the company has a narrower market due to the lack of a variety of payment options. The organization only allows checks and cash, limiting the market coverage. Through the introduction of the e-payment system, there will be an improvement in the market, owing to the attraction of more customers into the organization. Another solution to the stated challenges is the improvement in software in charge of scheduling and employee training. The company software does not support the intended training methodology, limiting the organizations productivity. The employees are therefore not equipped with the right knowledge required to offer quality services. The company intends to upgrade the software, make it better, and match the intended tasks. The software will maximize productivity since the employees will be equipped with all necessary skills to complete any forthcoming tasks. Implementation The most crucial stage is implementation of the developed solutions to challenges. There requires a team, and a laid out procedure on the process to enact the solutions in the company. There requires funding, and thus much of the returns should be plowed back to put the e-payment into operation. The company can abandon the existing payment system and enact wire transfers, bill payments, automated payment platforms, commercial cards, ach payments, and virtual accounts. The ACH platform enables handling of numerous volumes of credit and debit cards. On the other hand, bill payments would still offer check-off systems to customers with it as their preference. Commercial cards enable Destination Care to provide both regular and one-time care to their customers. One can use it at whichever time, easing payment processing. With this new payment method, the company can better its market share and ultimately revenues. With the introduction of a variety of payment options, the company widens its market coverage and serves more customers. The productivity of the company improves, since the payments are easily processes, reducing the risk of loss or theft of funds. The company as a whole will grow and better its reputation with the new system. The introduction of new scheduling software for will also better the company’s revenues. The new system will improve training and thus the service quality will improve. Customers will thus develop a bond with the organization, maximizing its returns. Cost Benefits Through the implementation of these measures and solutions, the company will have not only a better public image, but also a variety of cost benefits. The company will enjoy the reduction in costs of payment processing, whereby it requires a number of employees and funding to conduct. The online platform will enable the organization to cut on costs and thus maximize its profits (Levesque 566). With the new payments system, Destination Care boosts its productivity, in that customers can process payments easily. As a cost benefit, it widens the market for services, ensuring that all the customers are satisfied with the quality. Working in the office is also eased by the system, whereby workers can focus on service quality, unlike the previous stress on payments and their processing. The cost benefits accrued by the organization are limitless and account for the overall growth of the organization (Levesque 565). With the implementation of the laid out solutions, the company will boost its profits through market widening. Work Cited Levesque, Roger JR. "Cost Benefits Analysis." Encyclopedia of Adolescence.
