The portrait of Marguerite de Seve portrays two main meanings to the viewers. One of the cases brought out is the season the attire worn and the landscape portrayed in the portrait represents a couple of centuries ago when the clothes were common in the society and also acted a sign of wealth. The idea of emotions is also clearly displayed in the portrait.

In the Portrait of Marguerite de Seve, the elements of art were well balanced to bring out the intended background as well as bring out the message of the time. Timken museum, that is presented in the essay is one of the popular museums in the world located in El Prado city. The researcher states that art itself can be described as creating a thing by out of the will of a group or person, rather than by nature itself.

Art can be meant to be seen or heard. Art can be used to convey information, express feelings, entertain, or establish a point of philosophy. Art makes people look closer to social issues and the emotions represented in the portrait. The environment in which the portrait was developed in is also clearly brought out by the portrait. In the portrait of Marguerite de Sève shows a woman who is in very expensive attire and whose left hand is a book. Nicolas de Largilliérre, the artist of the portrait, developed this art which represented her wife.

The portrays his wife wearing costumes jeweled and embossed bodice which looked to be made of metal though they could be made of stiff material of molded buckram with silk mounted on it. The researcher then concluds that artwork is a vital tool in the life of mankind. It plays a very major role to convey the message that cannot be easily understood in literature and hence creates a reason as to why art should be incorporated in schools so that it may help the students for easier understanding of the lesson intended by the lecturer.
