I have always valued the importance of education. During my tenured at Laguardia Community college I’ve been a very dedicated student. I learn at this school that college requires a lot of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work in order to succeed academically. I am seeking to transfer to a four year college to complete a bachelor’s degree in business administration. My second option for a major is in economics. Through the practice of sports such as Taekwondo and Judo I learn to be a disciplined person. Businessmen must be disciplined in their decision making because making uninformed decision leads to mistakes. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills. These skills have helped me achieve academic success in college.

During the summer of 2008 I completed an internship in Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning in International Cooperation Team. This was a great experience that taught me the value of teamwork. I also worked in the marketing department of Ocean Trading Corporation. This job helped me improve my research skills as well as my people skills. During my tenured in college I joined both the honor society and philosophy club. Both these experiences help me improve my networking skills. I am very motivated to join a bachelor’s degree program in business. I have always had a passion for business. One of the reasons I want to complete my education in business is because business administration is a growing field that offers lots of employment opportunities in the United States and abroad.
