When exercising against resistance, you subject your muscles to stress but at low levels to the extent that it may not cause any serious damage or injury. During resting, the body rebuilds the muscles and the connective tissues connecting them in a manner that prepares them for any other moment that they will be stressed. When a similar exercise is repeated over and over again then the muscles gradually become stronger. Strength training is highly recommended as a form of exercise because it enables the muscles to become very strong.

It is important to note that too much and too little of any food nutrition can cause very serious health problems. Some of the diseases associated with poor choices of nutrition include obesity, osteoporosis, and diabetes. In order to reduce the risk of suffering from chronic diseases, the following are the recommendations for healthy eating: There are three goals of weight management including maintenance, gain, and loss.

Maintenance involves keeping the same ratio of fat mass to free mass. Gaining involves increasing the mass of muscles by not adding the fat mass.
