It is crucial that the University of Libya appreciates this modern technology to ensure that all its clients benefit from the technology especially in learning and other services that might be offered by the University. Through e-Business, there is the utilization of Information and Communication technology (ICT) to make best use of competence in business operations in internal and external processes (Canzer 6). The best atmosphere to start electronic education could be suited in the library where most of the students go for extra studies. In essence, the e-business will serve the University with a digitized international platform which allows self-marketing in terms of services especially to the target market entailing local students who want to pursue various courses. Additionally, e-business will assist the institution in providing more information on its website and updates at all times. Contrary to this, the e-business puts the institution at risk in terms of security due to lack of sufficient systems for security, and the increase rate of internet hacking being witnessed all over the world. The migration to digitals technology is very expensive especially in maintenance of technology, which keeps advancing constantly. Needless to mention that, stakeholders must be conversant with computers to fit in the world of technology. In general, internet and e-business tends to convert the institution into a ‘slave’ of technology as it must rely on the internet for every transaction (Canzer 11). Apparently, through internet technology the university will be able to offer e-learning to local students who are willing to pursue their learning but are incapable of attending physical classrooms. In addition, the technology ensures that the university is able to market itself both locally and internationally. Operations are digitalized, easy and faster. Besides, the University will be able to operate under mass customisation, which entails allowing services to be customised with regard to the requirements of the students and or customers. For instance, the institution could submit articles or documents with crucial information in the form of document sharing which is easy and less tedious. Through this, information is stored in a public repository that could have multiple links, allowing the information to appear in multiple places and in return giving the institution a higher visibility on search query (Canzer 54). Moreover, electronic mails could also be used in document sharing especially there is team work on a single project. Essentially, the power of sharing documents across departments in the institution is very effective especially when the document can be accessed from one central location. Needless to mention that, document sharing does not only revolve around documents but it also includes spreadsheets, presentations from power point and Portable Document Format (Canzer 55).
