She has written different articles in different areas, education being one of them. In this article, she offers her own experience with regard to virtual world teaching and its effect on education. She offers an analysis into an experience she got inside a Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL) at Stanford University. She analyzes the use of virtual reality gadgets and 3-D television that was being used. She also offers an insight into what a virtual reality is and the aspects that it relies on to provide quality service. The author provides a first account of a virtual reality experience. This source is credible because it provides a firsthand account of what it feels to use virtual reality for learning, because the author indicates that it provides a real world experience into learning. It also provides the who, what, when and how answers to the topic. The source is reliable because it is a current source and the evidence provided can be proven. This secondary source is important for this project because it provides first hand information essential for understanding virtual world teaching. Oh, K., & Nussli, N. (2014). Oh and Nussli are educational instruction and learning researchers. Oh is an assistant professor while Nussli is a doctoral student, both at Learning and Instruction Department University of Francisco showing their background in research. In this source, the two explore the use of virtual world teaching on teacher training. The study provides recommendations and a model for other teacher educators who are interested in training teachers in the use of three-dimensional (3D) immersive virtual worlds (IVWs) for their own teaching. They acknowledge that virtual world teaching has become widespread and study how three-dimensional (3D) immersive virtual worlds (IVWs) can be used to provide better teacher training. They do this by conducting a primary research through Mixed-methods data analysis and triangulation and referring to previous studies on the subject. The source is a credible one because it makes its conclusions by linking them to the results of the study and previous research. It is also a reliable source because it offers latest information having been published recently. Important inclusions in this source are the reasons why virtual reality are used, its advantages, disadvantages, and the suggestions on when to use and when not to use virtual reality. She also presents a model that can be used to determine when to use virtual reality in an education or training course. This shows the richness of a research background that is essential for this resource. The authors review the different perspectives of virtual worlds and how they have been used especially in education. They review the examples of virtual worlds, such as the Second Life and the categories of virtual worlds and the different terms used to refer to virtual worlds in education such as immersive virtual world or three-dimensional virtual world. They also offer information from other authors on virtual world and teaching. The authors go further to offer the pedagogical strategies used for the implementation of virtual world teaching in schools. The source is credible because it contains the contributions of more than one author and makes conclusions based on evidence. It also acknowledges the contributions of previous research and authored work. It is also reliable because it was published recently meaning that it has information that can relate to the current virtual world teaching methods. This source is a primary source for this project offering knowledge on virtual world teaching especially on pedagogical issues. Singer, N. (2015, September 28). She has written on different subjects and areas such as business and consumer data, pharmaceutical industry and technology. In this source, an analysis of the Google Virtual-Reality System that is an example of virtual world teaching to show the effect that it will have on education. Singer provides an example of the use of the Google virtual field trip system for schools that was used at Mariano Azuela Elementary School in Chicago. The author shows how the system was used to enable students learn without having to get out of class signifying a change in teaching mechanisms. Singer focuses on the importance of the system to overall education. The source is a credible one because the claims made in the analysis rely on the evidence provided that can be followed up if need be. Evidence has been provided by showing where the system has been used and its importance both to the teacher and the students. The source is reliable in the sense that it provides current or latest information on the use of virtual world teaching.
