The numbers on the west side of the causeways were not too much lower than the numbers on the east side of the causeway. However, the numbers on the west side of the causeway were noticeably lower than the numbers on the Eastside the caused way the researchers expected to find the numbers to be almost identical as they were on Wednesday and Friday for the Eastside the causeway. On the west side of the causeway for Wednesday the mean was 20.0, and on Friday the mean for the west side of the causeway was 25.2. This is something that the researchers did not expect find. The number of animals in the causeway increased slightly between Wednesday and Friday.

The possible reason for the unexpected finding on the west side of the causeway between Wednesday and Friday is that the salinity on the west side of the causeway was in incubation on Wednesday, and by Friday the salinity had hatched leaving more salinity in the causeway for the researchers to count. The difference the researchers found in having slight variations in the numbers between the west side of the causeway and the Eastside the causeway could be, because the temperatures are warmer on the east side of the causeway, than they are on the west side of the causeway. If the temperatures are warmer in the causeway, the breeding ground would be much better on the Eastside the causeway, therefore causing population growth on the Eastside the

causeway.

The researchers found large populations of salinity and both sides of the causeway because the breeding ground on both sides of the causeway is ample for salinity to reproduce. Therefore, the researchers did find salinity on both sides of the causeway, however, the numbers varied slightly on both sides of the causeway. When the researchers went back on Friday, they found that the numbers were almost comparable to the numbers they found on Wednesday. The researchers did not find too much of a variation between Wednesday and Friday on each side of the causeway. However, the researchers did find a slight variation in the numbers of salinity on the west side of the caused way between Wednesday and Friday. There was an incredible increase on Friday than there was on Wednesday.

The researchers felt the need to go back on Friday, as opposed to perhaps waiting a week because the researchers found the data would be just as accurate on Friday as it would be a week later. The salinity population does not change very much and can change in just a matter of days. This is something the researchers witnessed in going back on Friday with having a large number of salinity on the west side of the causeway on Friday than the researchers did on Wednesday.
